NetWork Kansas’ Erik Pedersen and Amara Kniep are the featured guests of the EntreEd Talk podcast episode 79, which was released today. Pedersen and Kniep shared information about the organization’s support of entrepreneurship and small business growth as well as provided an overview of the E-Community program.
“We tend to work more from a grow-your-own mentality,” Pedersen said of the approach to entrepreneur-led economic development that NetWork Kansas and its E-Community program champions.
“At its core, it’s taking an asset, empowering a community, creating a close partnership and then making progress on local goals that [communities] deem strategic,” Pedersen said of how the E-Community framework operates.
