Interfaith Housing Services, Inc.

Mission: Interfaith Housing Services shall develop, promote, and implement programs which assist persons of low-to-moderate incomes to meet their housing needs.

Interfaith Housing Services (IHS) has been helping people in the Kansas community with housing needs for the last 19 years. They are a non-religious, faith-based organization designed to meet the needs of the community. IHS envisions communities where equal opportunities for safe, affordable, accessible, and quality housing services are available to everyone.

Over the last 19 years IHS has: assisted more than 500 homeowners in area counties to keep their homes livable; provided 117 safe and affordable rental housing units to people with disabilities, the elderly, and families; helped more than 34 first-time buyers acquire a new home; and has opened 25 Individual Development Accounts.

  • First Time Home Ownership
  • Individual Development Accounts
  • Kansas Weatherization Assistance Program
