Non-profit Economic Development District and Certified Development Company assists new and existing businesses with gap financing, local governments with CDBG and CDBG-ED grants and operates a 13-county weatherization program.  SCKEDD assists businesses with gap financing. We work with seven loan programs and administer eight county Microloan programs. Our in-house loan programs make loans in all our counties and have maximum loan sizes of $35,000, $250,000 and $300,000. Our Microloan program provides unlimited no-cost technical assistance to its borrowers. We do SBA 504 loans from $50,000 to $4,000,000 and package SBA loan guarantees up to $1.5 million. Loan guarantees up to $25 million are available through Rural Development in cities below 50,000 population. SCKEDD administers county Microloan programs in Butler, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Harvey, Marion, Sedgwick and Rice Counties.
