Centrally located, McPherson County is just a short drive from anywhere in Kansas. The City of McPherson is located at the intersection of I-135 and US 56 Highway. McPherson County is home to 5 communities with the City of McPherson being the county seat. Residents of the county all enjoy small-town life and many conveniences only found in much larger cities. A thriving county with 52 industries and workforce with a work ethic second to none. McPherson County is home to 3 4-year colleges (Bethany College in Lindsborg, McPherson College and Central College in McPherson) as well as Hutchinson Community College – McPherson Campus with a total enrollment of over 1,000 students. McPherson County has a proven success record in the entrepreneurship, which has been the foundation of our success and our future growth and sustainability.
