Coffeyville Overview
Downtown Coffeyville Inc. was selected to become an eCommunity in October 2010. We are a non-profit community agency committed to strengthening the downtown economy and preserving the historic character of its buildings. Coffeyville conveys a strong sense of community pride, rich history, enthusiasm, teamwork and creative ideas, which is a strong testament to who we are as a person and community.
Our vision is simply to become a charming place. It has restored and well maintained, historic architecture that forms a visible canvas for a family friendly commercial district filled with a wide variety of businesses, services and office uses that serves local and regional markets. Upper floor residential lofts provide quality housing for all ages. Downtown is the cultural and entertainment center for the community featuring the Midland Theatre complex, history, fine arts, festivals and live performances. Downtown serves as the living room of Coffeyville for both residents and visitors with its well landscaped, bright public spaces.
Successful businesses have created a strong economic revitalization of the district, including job creation and a larger tax base. Unique restaurants and shops in conjunction with Coffeyville’s rich history have helped develop a strong tourism niche. Enthusiastic business owners have pride in their establishments that is reflected and repeated community wide.
