For persons wishing to begin a business, we strongly recommend that you attend a “How To Start Your Own Business” session prior to meeting with a counselor. This two-hour session will provide an overview of the business startup and operation process, and will include worksheets to help you compile the information you’ll need to make informed decisions about your business plans. There is no charge for these sessions, but advanced registration is required by calling the KSBDC office at 620-235-4920. Schedules are subject to change and will be reflected on our website at www.pittstate.edu/bti/sbcd.
Subsequent to these “startup” sessions, KSBDC counselors will be available to assist you with your startup plans by scheduling an appointment for one of the future counseling sessions in your area.
